Love this tune by U2, *Ordinary Love*, which was written as the soundscore to Mandela Long Walk to Freedom...It definitely was a LONG stroll, no doubt, and certainly not a fun one,  considering all the suffering Nelson Mandela went through,
for so many (harsh) years!

It's electronic, no doubt, with Rocky beats...The intro reminds me a lot of their electronic track *Electrical Storm*, from some years ago.  Maybe, they were a bit
nostalgic?  Even so, I like the track, and that's why I've written a brief review.

Time wasted... (;o)*

Instead of *wasting time* (let's call it like that...), going from one site to the other, following peoples' comments (some are really dumb and totally wrapped up in their own little cr**), I
should just concentrate on writing...which is one of the things I do...best!

I used to write for newspapers, magazines, and also radio work...Then, some years ago, it stopped...People didn't pay, not even for my expenses!  I have to pick up something like 47 thousand Euros all around, in a time span of 8 years more or less...this also includes clubs et
all, for my deejaying and Special Guest nights.

Ohhhhhhhh...if I were a rich man...tralala laa la la... 

Maybe I am rich, but not moneywise...eheh ehhh

If I go back to my writing, at least I shall leave some sort of legacy...something for which people will remember me (friends, Fans, and even a lot of strangers).

I have even stopped writing poems!  That sure is a mind freezing ordeal!  Sure, from time to time, I'll come up with some poetic thoughts and some rhymes...the sounds of which are sort of wasted where I publish them (mostly on Fakebook).  For sure I still have some time left in this universe, to write something else, and leave some good thoughts...before everything...expires...

I do not consider March 8 a big feast day, but rather, a Tribute day to remember what really triggered this International Day: a lot of suffering and a big tragedy...the color *yellow* is a symbol...(fire) Let's not forget... (~_*)

Looking for Freedom...

Listening to this song, vocally speaking:  She reminds me of Macy Gray, but in a nicer way...and he reminds me of Gnarls Barkley.  I love this song and I think both Anthony Hamilton and Elayna Boynton have made a lovely duet for the Django Unchained music sound score!  *Freedom*!

Don't we all? (;o)* look for freedom, in different ways... However, I'm one of those who does take the weight of the world's problems on my shoulders...It's a big burden for these little shoulders, believe me!  That's the way I am...

p.s.:  I saw the movie yesterday...Quentin Tarantino is always an incognito, and I don't like all his
stuff.  Although this particular movie was quite gory (even though in a *cartoon* sort of way, typical of Quentin), I rather liked it...The end was a good one (I'm sorry Dr. Schultz was sacrificed to die!) and the message is...Freedom!  As I was saying (writing) I saw the movie on Monday (Febrauary 24, 2013) and was pleased to find out in the evening that Christophe Waltz--the Dr. Schultz character in the movie--had won an Oscar as best supporting act!  All were good, but he was great!  Congratulations to the Winner! 

Oh, by the way... I love you Jamie Foxx...cool, handsome, clever! ~♥~

Popes and Rats... (~_*)

The world's gone crazier...eheh ehhh

Pope Rats (that's how I've called him from the very first time I saw him...Never did like him...his eyes were cold, and same thing for his smile) has decided to retire at the end of this month. He says he is getting old and does not feel that he can fulfill his duties. Why did he accept his role as Pope at the beginning, in 2005? if he felt he was going *to feel old*? query...

Anyway, let's hope that the new Pope will distribute some money around, to the poor and needy! (;o)*
 

(IL Papa Rats ha deciso di andare in pensione, dicendo che non si sente giusto nel ruolo, nel prendere decisioni, a questa sua eta'. Lo sapeva anche nel 2005...perche' ha accettato, quindi? Comunque non mi e' mai piaciuto...con quegli suoi occhi cosi' freddi, ed anche il sorriso. L'ho chiamato *Rats*...un po' per abbreviare il suo cognome, un po' per *ridere*...Rats vuol dire topo/topi. Mi auguro che il nuovo Pope distribuira' un po' di denaro in giro, ai poveri e bisognosi!)

And now, WHEN THEY REALIZED THE WORDING WAS WRONG...the story has changed...the word has changed. Instead of *retire* it has become *resign*...very different, and more appropriate (Ora, quando si sono accorti dell'errore, e' stato messo che il Papa dara' le *dimissioni* e non piu' andra' in *pensione*...molto piu' adeguato e appropriato!)

Too Good...

to be true...That's exactly what I am...

Just reflecting on recent happenings:  The guy who was supposed to pay me, did not bring me the money he owed me... (Wed., Jan. 30, 2013)  Then he gets in to talking saying that people in general don't value what I do...because I am too good of a Person!  and then?  He's the one who was supposed to pay me 10 days ago, with a bank transfer...Never did, with the promise he'd bring money with him and pay me in person...  This has been going on Since January 14 (Mon.)

No way!  blah blah blahs

Conclusion:  So far, I have only spent money!  Food for the dude (cooked a delicious lunch, including apple pie!), phone calls, text messages, the two blogs (first of all!), electricity, groceries.  1st time was the 13th, and today, the 30th... He had the nerve to invite one of his friends to my house without letting me know in advance!  and I felt (since I am very generous and I treat guests very nicely making them feel comfortable, whether they are friends or not!) compelled to go buy drinks and food...Plus giving my password for internet use, and offering my home...

What more can you ask for...huh?  and the punch line was that money will be transfered Thursday morning {{meaning Jan. 31, 2013!  but nothing came through!!  liar!}}  first thing (I said I wanted total amount)

Johnny Clegg has always been on the side of the weaker people in South Africa (a South African himself!), defending their rights and singing songs aimed to the same theme.  Just by watching this video you can see how close he is to the South African people, and how he sees himself as one! and he is!






Hail to Johnny!  He reminds me so much (in ways of behaviour and fighting for the rights of the weaker kind) of Peter Gabriel...
