First new single (*Can’t Bring Me Down*) from Billy Idol’s new album:

 

Billy Idol has been very busy these past months and still is!  What with his book of memoirs *Dancing with Myself*,  what with his new album *The Kings and Queens of the Underground*, and all his touring around the universe…well, you can feel that Idol Power, all the way through!

Talking about touring, Billy (and guitarist Steve Stevens), in November, will be in Great Britain, in Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, in Switzerland, in Italy…Mind you, there will only be one venue in Italy (promoted by D’Alessandro and Galli), on November 23, 2014 (Sunday), at a club called
FABRIQUE.   After Italy, Billy and company will be heading back to the States, starting January 21, 2015, in New Orleans, La. So far there have been rave reviews, with sold out gigs. The King of Punk and Rock is rocking down all the houses with that whiplash smile that is always there, and those Rocky tunes that will make you want more more more!

See ya, Billy! I interviewed you in 1986, when you came out with *Sweet Sixteen*…and I’ve been *following* you ever since…When I have my own gigs, as DJ, I always put in a couple of your tunes: the other night, I mixed in *Mony Mony*, plus another tune later in the evening *White Wedding*! I look forward to seeing you soon!

Almost...Nothing in its Right Place...(;o(*

As I was humming this Radiohead tune to myself, I was thinking...Nothing seems to be in its right place in our wonderful universe, which is being destroyed, exploited, and ruined by so many Jack***es...

I dislike politics and I dislike wars, but both seem to dance the war dance so easily and quickly. So, I was thinking: Why don't all these Presidents and Prime Ministers, Governors, Politicians, and the likes, from all over the globe--which includes, obviously my American President--plus ALL the others! why don't they ALL get together on a distant island--having no fauna, flora, or inhabitants--without any weapons, and just fight it out amongst themselves, and leave all the other inhabitants to rejoice with their lives, and live at ease and in PEACE?!

HER (short movie review by Melody Fox)

When I saw HER, I had mixed feelings...How can one fall in love with an Operating System?! lol (;o)* 

Thinking of it, there isn't really much to laugh about, though...it's quite tragical, as a matter of fact...That shows you how lonely some people (many!) can be:  in the States it's been at least 20 years that people stay for hours and days behind their computer, not interacting with *real* human *beans*...I mean, that is sad!  The movie is just a continuation on the silver screen on some of the facts of real life.   In the end, the OS passes on just like people, but having a much shorter life, considering the speed of that life, at a much faster pace than any individual...

The actors were alright, but Joaquin Phoenix did a great job, and Scarlett Johansson's voice was incredible.  I wonder how it's been dubbed in other languages...I wonder if each country was able to find an adequate *voice* to *act* just like Scarlett, I doubt it...

The landscapes were beautiful, and the Music soundscore was awesome, especially the song *Supersymmetry*, by Arcade Fire.  The first time I heard of this Group, was when I watched the movie, and when I listened to the end titles, with *Supersymmetry* being performed, I was attracted to that sound, to the melanchony of the voice, and to the lyrics.  An album which I will definitely buy!  When I left the movie theater, I looked up YT, and remember listening to it over and over, and over again...

My final thoughts on this:  Live your life, go out, and do everything, but, most of all, fall in Love with a real Person!

There are so many things that can cause our lives to change and each one of us reacts in a different way... My life has changed so many times: who said we are the masters of our destiny? not always...not always...

How many times, looking back on your life, would you want to *change* something? Me personally:  Maybe, and I'm saying *maybe*, I would be a little more selfish and think a bit more of myself instead of putting others first. However, if I did, it wouldn't be me anymore, but...someone else, walking in someone else's tracks...
