Short Movie Review: What's Eating You, Gilbert Grape?

From the past, this is a 1993 flick Some time ago I bumped into this sort of vintage movie and was nicely surprised, seeing three actors whom I love: Johnny Depp, Leonard Di Caprio, Juliette Lewis.

 I looked on in awe! Yes, that's right! They were really great! When the movie came out back in 1993, these actors were not as famous as they are in present days, so I wasn't that impressed, at the time. Watching it in 2025, gives a total different vibe!  A different kind of cool.  They are very famous now, and so your memory lingers on what they used to look like, and I was really following the movie with great interest, more now than when I saw it in the nineties. Does that happen to you, too? When an old film comes back, I look at it in a different light, with a different perspective, and am amazed. 

What are your thoughts? Everyone acted well in *What's Eating You, Gilbert Grape*, even those playing minor roles...

Miracle?! or? Keeping fingers crossed...

Well, one more time! I tried again to get into my Google blog, and this time I made it! Tuesday, October 14, 2025...I wonder how long it will last? Yeah! the Miracle on 34th Street sounds just fine! Lol

Trying Again...(2025.5.23/Fri)

Trying once again...Ms Perseverance...never giving up...Lol This blog is driving me nuts! The Verve are blasting away while I'm writing...Not my favorite, but I used it to try out new cd rom player that was just installed by FM... (Urban Hymns, so long ago, but it never grow olds. going back to 1997)

Will this Issue with my Google Blog ever be Resolved?

With a link provided to me by one very special assistant guy from Google (Mike), I have been able to get in here, but I'm not sure what's going to happen. It's still a problem to write, since I keep getting all these symbols, when I want to change the character or way of writing. Today is 11th day of the New Year (Saturday), and it's the first time that I'm writing in here, like I mentioned earlier. However, the problem is still huge...If I try clicking directly to my blog account, from my desktop, I get a scammer/spam promotional site trying to sell their products, and I can't write anything. I tried through a like *Mike* wrote, and I am writing directly from that space. This is not the proper way, however... Earlier I tried through one of my smartphones, and I was able to click on to www.melodyfoxdj.blogspot.com, but I couldn't write a comment, only as an anonymous participant, but I didn't stay there to verify...Too much going on with the technical sh*t! The problem must be with my desktop, although, now, as mentioned, I am writing from my desktop... Frustrating indeed...I wrote to the direct help center, always through a link that magical *Mike* wrote me, and I'm waiting for a response, from the community help center. I forgot to mention that I can't get into my site through my desktop. Anyway, to whomever is reading, thank you for bearing with me on this garbled up post Lol, and a Happy New Year, in health, positive happenings, work, Love, friendship, etc., etc... Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock) LPEACEM and...be brave and stay safe to all the people in the universe who are going through disasters, wars, fires, water, and any other devastating happenings... Tentative Post...

This is just tentative...Have no idea what is happening or will happen. My blog seems to have been hacked and I cannot write anymore. I have no idea how I got in here this round...Lol

Why oh Why...

The reason I've been missing from this blog, is because it seems to be more and more difficult to write in here...I prefer the Word Press one because it's easier, technically speaking. I get all kinds of codes and numbers here, for some weird reason. Anyway, on the third day of this leap year, I want to wish everyone (those who read as my subscribers, and those who are not subscribers) a really HEALTHY 2024, WITH dreams coming true, and positive achievements falling through... It's Wednesday, January 3, 2024: not many words are coming out of my dull mind, mainly because I'm quite sleepy; and will definitely pick up later! that's an almost promise! Lol Of course, with the Princess of Rock, there always has to be some sort of Music, and this time I've chosen the Rolling Stones' Mess It Up...Rock and a hard place, but not too hard. MIA since December of 2021...What?!

The situation hasn't changed: it's still a misery to write on this blog. No easy flow! for some reason Google makes it too complicated, and it's really a drag to write anything here! No wonder I've been missing, or rather have stopped writing here...It's too complicated! What the f... September 20, 2023/Wednesday, and nothing to say, not under these circumstances. The most appropriate video that comes to mind, is Bruce Springsteen's *Missing*. Lol To be continued... LPeaceM
