Of Monsters and Men...Review on Some of their Releases...by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

I've always loved this Indie Rock group from Iceland and have felt weirdly attracted to them:  they never miss having something interesting to propose, not your typical lyrics, at all!

This album was released in 2015...the band was formed in 2010.

Strangely enough Of Monsters and Men have a limited number of album releases...they had a six year hiatus from 2019 to 2025, releasing their latest ALL IS LOVE AND PAIN IN THE MOUSE PARADE, in October of 2025.

Titles like *Tuna in a Can*, *Fruit Bat*, *Kamikaze*, make one wonder...😑  One of my favorites is the weird ballad *The Block & Mouse Parade*...  The video reflects the band's name, in my opinion:  Of Monsters (they are little monsters as a matter of fact), and Men, bringing back the reality of humanity.

Iceland is a cold, freezing country, but it does harbor a lot of human warmth found in this group's lyrics.
