The Day *THE* Music was Assassinated...by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

 8 December 1980

John Lennon's last day on this planet...

It's amazing how some dates just stick to your mind, and December 8, 1980, is definitely one of them:  it's History!  The day that John Lennon was brutally assassinated by Mark Chapman. In cold blood!  I have a copy of Newsweek that gave the grim details.  A picture (image) I shall never ever forget!  I must look for it and put a picture here in my post.

John and Yoko were just coming back from the studio after picking up their brand new Double Fantasy album, where the track *Just Like Starting Over* was.  What a tragical coincidence...just like starting over, instead he was shot four times in the back by this criminal, losing all grip to life.  

Don McLean wrote a song where the lyrics go...the day the music died, referring to the untimely deaths of  Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. Richardson, back in 1959 in a terrible plane crash, where all three artists, plus the pilot, lost their lives.  Therefore, instead of using the same words for John Lennon (indeed, Music died with him), I decided to rephrase it saying that Music was assassinated.  John Lennon was assassinated in cold blood.  No wonder Mark Chapman has been denied parole 14 times:  he is eligible to appear at the parole board again in 2027.  That is one thing I cannot overcome.  We should all be ready to forgive, right?  Well, as much as I am a Peace bringer and practise peace and not only preach it, I just can't get myself to forgive Mr. Chapman.  I guess those on the board feel the same way, right?!  otherwise, why deny him parole after all these years?  1980 versus 2026...

John Lennon wrote one of the most beautiful songs of all time, in my opinion, that being IMAGINE, a song that can easily be labeled as a poem...those lyrics scream PEACE in its entirety.

           This was remastered in 2010...The beauty and Peace of this poetic track:  IMAGINE...☮

The above link is a remaster, and it has a great sound, but I prefer the link I have posted here below because it has life in it. It's the official video of 1971.  It shows John and Yoko together, hand in hand, walking on the gravel, as they are heading to one of their homes, going through the door,  John sitting at the piano, Yoko opening the shutters, letting the light stream in, and then...she sits next to him while he plays that magical white piano. The contrast at the beginning all dark and gloomy, sort of eerie, then they enter the light...the white.   I love it!

It starts off a bit on the gloomy side, but it turns into a surprisingly lovely and romantic video...This is the official video of IMAGINE for its release in 1971...

It suddenly dawned on me, (or rather, at the time of writing) that John mentions the word PEACE only once during the entire song, yet it talks Peace in every phrase, imho.

If only each and every person, around the universe, would sing this song once a day, or recite it, maybe we would reach that goal...the Peace achievement.  Why don't You try?

Staying on the subject and topic of Imagine, of course there have been written, and are being written, many beautiful and lovely lyrics, but nothing like Imagine.  Only one, sticks to my mind, which could be remotely similar in beauty, and that is Ozzy Osbourne's lovely, haunting, Rock ballad, DREAMER...However, I will talk about that in another post, and at another time.

Additional note, added on September 8, 2026/Tuesday:

Of all the Artists I have interviewed, I never had the opportunity or chance to meet John Lennon, unfortunately; however, I did meet and talk with Yoko Ono Lennon, 10 years after his death.  She organized The John Lennon exhibition that took place at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni (Exhibition Palace) in Rome, Italy at the end of 1990 (October 27 through November 12, the latter being my birthday), and marked the 10th anniversary of John Lennon's death.  A very petite and frail looking lady, who always had a smile and sad eyes, the two times I spoke with her.  Anyway, what an honor! The title of the show, *Let's Have a Dream*, in tribute to John, where many of his drawings, poems, and litographs, were shown.  I was given two, one which I lost during one of my many moves around the universe, and one which I gifted to one of my Doctors (L.C.).  I gave it to him a few years ago, during one of my generous moments, grateful for what he had done for my health, but have recently regretted doing so, just a tiny bit.  I will add a picture of that one of these days...

Meals...What's the Most Important and Why? by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

Let me ask you...what is your favorite meal (meals) during the day?  Plus, which is the most important, in your opinion? and why? 👀👦👧👨👩

My favorite, is sweet tooth o'clock! Lol 😆😇👽  Some people prefer savory while others prefer sweet stuff...just like me! I am the One.  Definitely a sweet tooth!

To answer the post, my favorite meal of the day is...BREAKFAST! 

I don't feel my day is complete or has a purpose until I have had breakfast, and it doesn't really matter what time, either.  It could be 10 in the morning or 3 in the afternoon (but never at 8:00 a.m.).  Typically, my favorite food, for breakfast, is a soft boiled egg, maybe two, toasted bread with butter, and a mug or two of tea, both in the cold months and in the warm.  However, I do eat much much less in the hot months!  and I lose weight, too!  Does that happen to you, too?

French toast, waffles, and/or crepes, with berries in season, and dices of banana, are also my favorites!

What about you, random reader or Follower? 😅😍

Usually, I have two meals a day, all year round, and those would be breakfast and dinner.  Sometimes, I have dinner at midnight...and yes, I can go to sleep without having any problems even by eating something a bit on the heavy side, such as peppers.  The only time I have serious issues going to sleep is when I drink tea, and/or coke, after 2:00 p.m..  That causes me to stay awake all night, almost!  yucks! 👀😔  That caffeine! the next morning, obviously, I'm a nervous wreck, a walking zombie...🧟

Depending on the moment and appointments, I will have lunch, especially, when I get invitations, and that's the only time I skip breakfast.  Also when travelling, and it can be either for business or for fun, I may not have breakfast.  However, most of the time it's because I don't care much for what the hotel offers for breakfast!  Or, if I've had an event and go to sleep in the wee hours of the night. 👀 How is it possible to have breakfast that early?!  Why? because,  most hotels serve breakfast till 9:30 a.m. or so!  Another thing, I'm quite picky, and not at all a foodie...I don't adapt to whatever is on the plate.  I prefer to go to a bakery, and just have some bread, or find some delicious croissants.  This happened when I was in Majorca, for instance...I found two delicious bakeries; one was very expensive and they were Swedish, and I tried out their cinnamon rolls!  yummies!  The other was a local coffee shop, just across the street from the Swedish ladies, and she had delicious donuts, some were plain, others filled with chocolate or cream.  Boy, were they delicious! and an apricot juice...That was heaven!

Dinner can be at any time, depending on what's going on with my life, in that particular moment.  If I have events (DJ or other), I will eat early, most of the time, at 6:00 p.m..  If nothing is going on , I will eat at any time:  it could be 8:00 p.m., 9, 11 p.m., and, sometimes, at midnight. If I don't feel like cooking, or no one is cooking for me, I will eat fruit, or cereals!   I love cereals, as a matter of fact...

Italians eat pasta, which is an easy and quick way to prepare a meal, both for lunch and dinner, and, sometimes, they like to prepare pasta with garlic, oil, and hot chili as a midnight meal, especially, if they have guests over. Just like we Americans will prepare pancakes at any time.  I've prepared pancakes at midnight and my favorite drink with them is ice cold milk...However, in cold months, that cup or mug of hot cocoa is just purrrfect! Sometimes, with a dash of cinnamon, which I love.

Depending on where you're from, your eating habits are totally different from mine.  What do you eat for breakfast, for example?

Moving on to other meals:  for me lunch isn't that important, mainly because my breakfast is quite a rich one.  However, I know there are many people in the world who have all three meals, and many times, even a 4th one! Lol 😄  

Sometimes, especially in my country, lunch is just a quick sandwich, or a hamburger.  A lot of fast food! which is not so healthy...  I already mentioned, further up, what Italians love for lunch!  pasta in different ways.  There are people who have pasta both for lunch and dinner!  I could never do that...I have pasta two, sometimes three times a month and not every month! and could never eat all that food...

I remember, as a kid, my mom would warm up spaghetti and meatballs, from a can...As a child I loved it...Thinking of it now, after having tasted the real thing, I feel sick just at the very thought of it! Lol 😁 No way would I eat that again!  After all those years, I can still taste those spaghetti and meatballs...and it's awful, believe me!

Other people have a preference for dinner...when they can just sit down and enjoy their meal without any hurry.  This happens especially in Europe.  Just like we Americans love Sunday brunch, spending hours at the table with friends and family, savoring the moment and all the goodies served for brunch.  Italians love to dine and wine, taking it easy, enjoying their dinner without a worry in the world, especially those from the south. I don't know which is a better life style...maybe the Europeans?  Most of them live life in the slow lane, and their lives are probably longer.  We live in the fast lane...Everything fast, days rolling quickly, fast food, as we go about our daily lives, a race to nowhere.

Taking Things for Granted...by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

Sometimes I do, even though I try very hard not to.  So, after a while when I realize that I'm going about my life without stopping to really appreciate things, I screech to a halt, and think!  Hey...look at all the things I have and have not given praise to them.

For example, in this heat, I was thinking of my wonderful no frost refrigerator, and stopped to think how lucky I am to have one!  Thank you, Mr. Whirlpool, what would I do without you?!  All those refreshing drinks!  Yesterday, for example, I put a glass of coke in the freezer (I'd forgotten to put in a bottle to chill) and it was cold in just 15 minutes or so...This is what happens in 2026...certainly not in the Stone age. Lol 😁😂 

and you, dear Reader, Follower, Fan, what are your thoughts?  Have you ever celebrated your fridge, during the heatwaves that have hit you and your town (regardless of where you live in this universe) really hard?!

What if we did have to go back to the stone age, like I mentioned earlier?  Could we live without a fridge, or any other electrical appliance (St Air Conditioner, too!) that rules our daily lives?  I don't think so.  Therefore, be thankful every day for what you have, and be grateful, even if it means spending money, both for their maintenance and to keep up with the bills. Lol 😀

This may need some updating since I'm not too happy about my post.  I was interrupted today (Saturday) and couldn't finish writing thus picking up 8 hours later. 😐

Netflix Documentary on Michael Jackson, by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

 Well, Friday (June 5, 2026), as I checked in to Netflix, the newest release popped up, a documentary...MICHAEL JACKSON:  The Verdict, in three episodes...

I gobbled down the first episode in no time...It left chills.  

Sure, at the time, in 2000 something, I had followed some of the headliners:  it was splashed in your face all over the place, on every news outlet, t.v., etc., etc, so it was hard to miss. You just couldn't!  I had mixed feelings at the time, and found it hard to believe.  Michael Jackson was always a weirdo, that's for sure!  but, to think that he was a child molester, I just couldn't get myself to believe it.

I remember when I interviewed him (at a press conference), he was afraid to come out in the open and answer questions from the media (including me), saying that he was scared.  Quincy Jones, his Producer was there, and I remember saying, come on, Michael, you're not the only famous artist that we have seen, talked with:  what about all your other fellow artists?  Prince, Sting, Bon Jovi, etc., etc..

This was at the BAD promotional days, in 1988, if I'm not mistaken.  Those days still saw Quincy Jones collaborating with Michael, but Michael decided to change things shortly after that.  I think I have Mr. Jones' autograph on that album, but not MJ's (he was too full of himself!).

I'm not sure I want to finish watching that documentary because it creeps me out too much.  Or, if I do, it will be several months from now.

Anyway, Michael was arrested in 2003, but acquitted of all charges, eventually.

Who's Bad?!

Of Monsters and Men...Review on Some of their Releases...by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

I've always loved this Indie Rock group from Iceland and have felt weirdly attracted to them:  they never miss having something interesting to propose, not your typical lyrics, at all!

This album was released in 2015...the band was formed in 2010.

Strangely enough Of Monsters and Men have a limited number of album releases...they had a six year hiatus from 2019 to 2025, releasing their latest ALL IS LOVE AND PAIN IN THE MOUSE PARADE, in October of 2025.

Titles like *Tuna in a Can*, *Fruit Bat*, *Kamikaze*, make one wonder...😑  One of my favorites is the weird ballad *The Block & Mouse Parade*...  The video reflects the band's name, in my opinion:  Of Monsters (they are little monsters as a matter of fact), and Men, bringing back the reality of humanity.

Iceland is a cold, freezing country, but it does harbor a lot of human warmth found in this group's lyrics.

Of Monsters and Men are starting a world tour on June 12, 2026!  Let's help Music and Artists survive in this world of digital downloads, by buying tickets to attend real gigs!

Do You Like Tribal Sounds? by Melody Fox d(*_*)b (aka the Princess of Rock)

 What kind of Music do you like?  What sounds are your favorites?  Do you like Tribal sounds and beats?  There's a comments section, here, and it would be nice to get some of your comments.  One thing about this blog of mine:  I get many visitors every day, from all over the universe, but no comments.  Why is that?

Anyway, continuing on my thoughts...

Well, I bumped into this video just by chance, while surfing the YouTube web...and I must say I liked it!  In fact, I've had it on loop for several days, for a week now, at the time of writing.

It's by Mirage Voxe, and if I'm not mistaken, title is VELLASKAE, and it's a sort of blend in of Tribal organic sounds.  Easy going beats that are nice to chill out to, while sipping a cool drink, or moving to its flow.  However, Music like this is also nice to make love to...not all the tracks, but some are.  Others are good to work out to...Although, I prefer Elektro House for the latter!

Dating Sites: Most Individuals are Scammers... by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

So many idiots who grace the paths of some dating sites.  Match.com, Tinder, Bumble...

When I write, I will not give any names (not even fake ones), but I will say the country.

The most recent is a guy from Sweden, E.:  I've just found out that he is a hunter, and that is scary in my opinion, besides being unacceptable for me.

One month of boredom!  A very handsome guy, but that's about it...

I'm getting further and further away from wanting to meet E. in person, mainly because I'm discovering something new about him as each day goes by, and not all likable things.  First of all, he never calls me by name!  We've been speaking on the phone and texting since April 7 and, up to now, he's addressed me with my name maybe 5 times (and only because I called him out on it, once)!👀

He disappears for hours.  E. texts me early in the morning, and then that's all...I reply, also sending him pictures (mainly of nature, and food), in the daytime, and he'll answer, mostly by adding emojis, at 3:00 a.m.!  Over the weekend E. disappears:  he is very family oriented.  He has 4 adult children (in their mid thirties), 2 daughters and 2 sons, and grandchildren, and they spend the weekends together.  That should not be a reason for disappearing, though.  

Oh, by the way, E. is a gym freak, which is fine, but don't let your life be run by that, as far as I'm concerned.  Sure, he stays fit, but, in my opinion, he goes to extremes.  I dislike anything that goes to extremes, or where obsession is involved.  And, yes, he is obsessed... 😁

This will be updated from time to time, otherwise I'll never publish it.  This last sentence was written May 31, 2026/Sun., and I started writing on May 1/Friday...

At the same time, more or less, a week later, I met the Sundance/Skyrider dude, whose name is Theodore (Theo).  

That's a different story, all together...but, not for the better.  Tinder is the night...Lol 😁😂

Got IT! At Least I Hope So... by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

Maybe, just maybe, I've figured out why paragraphs weren't showing up as such...It's a HTML deal, and I must use the so called *compose view*.  There's something new to learn every day or so. Lol 😂😃  At first, I thought it was because I had copied and pasted two stories, here, from my Fakebook (yes, my given word!) account/timeline, but that wasn't the case.

It's a good thing I'm patient and perseverant!  That's why so many people, Fans, Friends, call me Angel 👼, I guess.

I'll be writing more and more on my Google Blog for several reasons:  one, because my site www.melodyfoxdj.com is still under construction.  I used to be able to do everything by myself when I had the domain with a Swedish company, but they cheated me black and blue, so...adios!  Two, because, it's about time I get out of my dormient state and depression mood and let go of my nervous breakdown.  Too much time wasted, and there's only one life, and I don't have all that much left, on top of everything... and Three, I prefer Google to the Word Press deal, where I have another blog, but it doesn't really impress me much.

A Few Words on Jean Michel Jarre... by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

Jean Michel Jarre is one of the nicest Artists I have interviewed. 

Smart, sweet, taking his time with no hurry at all. We spoke for about two hours.😎😎 (late eighties circa) He was still married to Charlotte Rampling at the time. They were both *beautiful*, mysterious, and sexy! Jean Michelle is now on his 4th marriage. 

JMJ has always been way ahead of the times, with all those lasers, lights, electronic sounds, being one of the first Artists to perform in China...He was like that way back in the seventies, and has not stopped since! 

You want to know a secret? I had a crush on him...🥰

Many of you may not know, but this track was released in October of 2015...Yes, this makes *Makeba* just over 10 years old!

Jain is a French singer, born in Toulouse, with a mix of Madagascar (mother's side) and *Makeba* is a tribute to Miriam Makeba. Mama Africa, her alias...

Miriam Makeba was very active during the Apartheid years, to the point that she was exiled for decades from her own country. She owned 9 passports!

I had the honor of meeting her and also going to her concerts.

It's sooo quiet in here! as a matter of fact, it's quite deafening... 😅 

I can't believe I've been away so long from this blog!  Too many problems, of all kinds, starting from the end of December 2025, sort of...

Even now, I'm not in the mood for writing, not inspired at all, but I must, just for the sake of it.  Add to all my personal uproar, the political status around the universe, which has touched me deeply.  It hurts!

The Old Year Taking its Leave...

A year is on the edge of the day, waiting for a way to bow out and let the New Year come in...

What has the year of 2025 left you with?  Good?  Bad?  Sort of? Better?  Worse?  It has been a tough one, but it has also brought in so much joy and happyness, with new friendships, and special bonds, that have really made me happy!😆👼 and, of course, very thankful and grateful...

Most of all, it has given me life, the most magical thing that one can ask for, the miracle of Love and Life.

I'm really not in the mood of writing because of my temperature, even though today it is lower and acceptable, but I thought it was important to write something for all these visitors, and, obviously, just a little for myself.

Today I watched the trailer for The Life Of Chuck, because of how much I love Tom Hiddleston, but I have found out that it has a very sad ending, therefore I feel a bit melancholic.  Once again, Steven King has surprised me...Just like he did with The Green Mile.  💚 

May you all walk in sunshine and the moonlight, whether we know each other or not...👫👪👫 I hope I am able to bring some smiles into your lives, even if you are going through some hardships.

I am so lucky to have this special touch and being able to write so easily:  it's a gift...Thank you up there, or wherever! 👼👽🏕🦊

Christmas 2025 ~🎄🎄🎄~ by Melody Fox 😎 (aka the Princess of Rock)

Christmas has really taken me by surprise this year! 👀😳😳 Nothing is ready and I've still got things in their Christmas boxes just waiting to bounce out...

These past three months I've been extremely busy and worried over technical issues, therefore it crept up on me and I am totally unprepared.  At the same time, I was also decluttering and getting rid of things, papers, etc., etc..   Obviously, before pulling out all the Christmas decorations, I need to tidy up and make space for all that joyful glitter!  Lol 🤣  However, I did put up a wreath that I crafted myself, or rather, I bought a new simple one, adding my artistic touch and it's shining bright on my door.  Oh, wait a minute!  I almost forgot!  We did get a real tree and put it out on the patio right after Thanksgiving (Sunday, Nov. 30)...hurray! and I put lights on it the following week.  It's small but it's sooo cute and gives that Christmas feeling and warmth! 🎄🎅🤶 So, two things accomplished...

Christmas comes this time each year...yes, it does!

As I wrote further up, two things have been accomplished, but there is still such a long way to go, and today, at the time of writing, it's already Friday, the 12th!  Oh...My...Gosh! 💥😆  What a mess!

I need to ask Tinker Bell for some help...🧚 or maybe some of Santa's elves! 🧝🧝🧝 Kidding aside, I've gotta roll up my sleeves and get rid of stuff:  today I did take some books to a charity and some clothes too, but that's only the tip of the iceberg and I have to act fast before I go nutz!😖🥴

WTF!!!

These motherfuckers have taken over my blog again!  Now they are called AliTool smart shopping! WTF!!!

Two years!  It took me two years to get back into my Google Blog again, to be able to write, and now, here we are in December (the 9th, Monday) and these mfs are pushing me out again!

Papers/Resumes Related to Artists I Have Interviewed...by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

 So, this is the deal:  to keep or not to keep?😊😉  William, I am borrowing your dilemma phrase, but changing it for obvious reasons.  Lol 😅

There's only so much paper that one can keep, right?!  Me, being a pack rat, I keep things, hanging on to them, as if they were relics...Well, in reality, many of them are!  Also, since I have a photographic memory, I frequently come to the conclusion that, if I throw a specific item away, that memory will be gone forever, and that goes for paper too...It's a bit frightening, actually.

In this case, however, I'm talking about A LOT OF PAPER...no kidding!  Years and years of accumulated paper, starting from the eighties! It takes up a lot of space, and it's heavy too...What can I do?  Hang on to it a while longer? Dump it? Shred it?  No, no, I certainly cannot save it!

Just days ago, I threw away a box of fliers for many of my DJ Special Guest spinning nights and events.  Believe it or not, it was quite a relief!  Like cleaning the attic... Lol 😃  I only kept a few to hand out to friends and Fans to use as book markers, and some for myself.

However, I have to do something about it:  there is way too much paper!  and I can't handle it anymore...mainly because it takes up too much room!  There are stacks and stacks of paper...and pictures!  Pictures of artists and bands I have interviewed.  The pictures, I can keep, I guess, but all their stories on paper?  They have to go...It's a must!

I chose this by Nat King Cole, *It's Only a Paper Moon*, because it sounds (the title) appropriate for my writeup... After all, it is only paper, right?!

Sadness: A Tribute to C.R. and Melancholy...

While looking at some pictures (those of Claude R.) on FB, I started crying and just couldn't stop...He passed away on June 25, 2025/Wed., a victim of cancer, that disease that still hasn't been conquered by mankind, the so called medicine men. 😟 A cure has NOT been found...Believe it or not, that's the way it is!

Claude had been offered a job, a well paid one, working with the Health system, in Naples, Italy, since 2019...He had suffered so much, for the lack of work, money, leading a really tough life and was finally getting on the sunny side of the sidewalk, getting on track!  A house, a job, better times, and most of all, he was able to travel, something that he really loved to do.  Going mainly to cold places... 🏔⛄⛇🌨🏂  He was sooooooo happy!  and...I was happy for him!  

The winds were blowing in the right direction...Everything seemed to be going well, and Claude was finally doing all the things he wanted and had wished for, for such a long time💙...

Then, all stopped!   How cruel life can be, or is it Destiny?!   Destiny turned its back and left him in the dark...  I am so sad!

Several months have passed, but my sadness hasn't and I cry, not every day, but today was one of them (Fri., Nov. 14), when tears were flowing and I just couldn't stop.

I will always love you...your Sciu Sciu (his nickname for me, which means something like *sugar sugar*)

It Sticks to your Brain and You Just Can't Let Go of It... by Melody Fox

There's some Music that just sticks in your head and won't let go of you:  it haunts you, in a nice way!  

During my Journalistic and DJ years, there have been (THERE ARE), many...One of these tracks is Yann Tiersen's *L'Autre Valse de Amelie*, from the French movie, AMELIE (sorry, my French Fans and Friends, no accent).  

Like so many of you, I, too, have my moments and fixations on different tracks, different genres, different ballads, different times of the days, weeks, months, years.  Today (at the time of writing, Monday, Nov. 10, 2025), my pick fell on Amelie.  I saw the movie when it came out years ago...  Being in love with Paris, even with all the problems that this city has, I grabbed the opportunity to see it in French, with the subtitles in English, during one of my sojourns in France.  It was very delicate, sweet and a bit crazy, almost impossible... Lol 😀  Even though I'm a Rocker, having electronic vibes, diving into contaminated sounds, I liked the movie score, which was very much Champs Elysees style, if you know what I mean.  The one particular track, which I mentioned at the beginning of my story, was one of my favorites, and I remember humming it to myself for many weeks after I had watched the flick! 🎥  Years later, it's still in my head.  I remember having the cd single somewhere, but I just couldn't find it.  Today (Mon., 11.10) I was going crazy trying to find it, both on YT (You Tube), and other research channels/engines... 😑  Sure, there were many accounts I found on YT, a lot were just click bait...I listened to hours of Music, but didn't recognize anything.  Some weren't even Yann Tiersen's tunes, but the account said it was his!  The BS!  I listened to so much crap, for about two hours or so, then, at last, FINALLY!  I recognized something...Yeahooo! 👏  What a major accomplishment!  

Here it is in all its glory and waltzing style!  Can't you see yourself dancing down Champs Elysees?!  I can... 💃👫

Sunday Sunday...So Good to Me...(2025.10.19)

So, here I am again, back on my Google blog...I am quite happy, but a little hesitant, still. 👾  Lol 😁

Actually, today, it wasn't really so good! My screen went off track,  and I think it's about to die.  It shows blurred lines going off into the horizon, and then it shows pictures overlapping, and other alienistic craziness.  At first, we thought it was cable that connects to screen, but it wasn't...ouch!  Me, being sort of kinetic, I had a feeling there was something off with the screen.  Sometimes, I try not to think of something, because, most of the time, when I do, it happens. 👼👽 Going ahead with the paragraphs, you will see...

FM checked everything out again once we saw that it wasn't cable, and, alas, it's the monitor.  Screen has to be replaced!  I didn't need this extra expense right now, since I am paying for a washing machine.  It broke down on me in September and, new one arrived on October 7/Tues. (7 is my favorite number!😝)

I was supposed to be working today, at an event, but that didn't work out...  There are worse things, right?! 😆   However, Luck, in the unlucky, was standing by me, since my dear FM came over even if it was a Sunday, to check the matter of emergency.  Therefore, Sunday afternoon, he replaced the video cable with a better one, and promised to come back Monday to check screen with one of his screen test devices.

Well, going one day forward, it is the screen...ouch ouch...and I will have to buy a new one...more ouch ouches! 😖😑  HP here I come! 🗔

Still a favorite after all these years...Monday Monday with the Mamas and Papas (Cass, John, Michelle, and Denny) ~❤❤❤❤~
